Middleway Press recently published Planetary Citizenship, a dialogue between renowned economist and futurist Hazel Henderson and SGI President Daisaku Ikeda, which explores the rise of "grassroots globalists"--ordinary citizens around the world who are striving to ensure a more peaceful, harmonious and sustainable future. The authors examine issues such as sustainable development, economic justice, respect for indigenous peoples and their traditional lands and resources, democratizing politics and international institutions, making corporations accountable and conserving the Earth's biodiversity, water, air quality and climate.

The National Book Trust (NBT) of India recently published a collection of 16 of Daisaku Ikeda's poems, Moonlight and Poetry, in Oriya, as part of a project to translate his books into India's major official languages. The poems were translated by Dr. Sitakant Mahapatra, a renowned Indian poet and former chair of the NBT.
